WHY I CREATED SHELL SNAPS

I built Shell Snaps because I couldn’t find a single app that truly spoke to seashell lovers the way we deserve. I didn’t want something generic or clinical — I wanted magic. I wanted to snap a shell and know it. Explore it. Feel something.

Shelling isn’t just a hobby for me — it’s how I breathe. It’s my therapy, my thrill, my treasure hunt. Every shell I’ve ever found has a story. But until now, there wasn’t an easy, beautiful, correct way to discover what those stories were. The apps out there were clunky, outdated, or flat-out wrong. They made me feel like my passion was being treated like an afterthought.

So I did something about it.
